I'm in Northern Michigan right now looking forward to heading back to the boat in Ohio in two and a half weeks. I found a laddy here that does waterproof upholstery.

Problem is, I don't have access to my boat it being in 5.5 hours away and I can't seem to find any plans for the Arial online that show the actual dimentions. Does any one on here know the dimentions of the cockpit seats? Thought it was worth a shot.

Thanks
-Elliot

Looked up C-Cushions to see if they have stock cushions for Ariel/Commanders.
They don't. There is a consideration about the icebox lid if you have one. It's
probably better to get back to your upholsterer once you measure yourself. If
you access your seat lockers regularly, you may have options for making sure
the cushions are connected to the fiberglass in a suitable way, Hook & Loop.

Port seat is 6+ feet long, starboard seat 1 foot less, icebox lid.
Tapered seat is about a foot wide at the aft end, and 14/15" wide at the cabin.
You may not want to fill the space in front of the companionway.
Imco, the best way is to make up a full size pattern(s) with heavy paper sheet
(and blue tape) from an office supply.

C-Cushions are fairly expensive vinyl encapsulated closed cell pads that could
be used as emergency flotation. Can see these having a sunbrella slipcover
that will make it comfortable to sit on a hot day. www.ccushions.com/

You'll find drawings in the Manual.
