Not sure what most of the connections are for, or what goes where. Pretty sure that the Forestay and aft-stay got to the spot with the large pin.
Also, does the block that is there for the Main Sail head?
Better go to Rico's thread:
Commander #155 'Meohisto Cat'
for a couple photos of a Commander mast with the fitting in it.
Why not ask your questions referring to this masthead?....

Hi Ebb:
I am new to sailing and new to this forum. I do not understand your question.
Thanks for the Meo Cat refer.
Sorry! Go to the first pape of the Forums.
Select Gallery forum.
Hit Gallery for list. First page.
To get to more pages: at bottom left side use box to bring up all pages from the Beginning
Hit 'Show Threads' at right side.
Search the long list, many pages for: 'Mephisto Cat 155.'
Bring up the thread. Look at the thread, it's a good one, find post 24,. each post is numbered.
Using the picture, describe the masthead fitting in your words to formulate a question, if that helps.
Ask questions in the thread. Or create a Gallery Page for your boat, and ask for help there.
And share some pictures.
The masthead fitting has a slant. Tall side is aft, aft is where the sailtrack is. short side forward.
Larger holes in the double plate mohawk are for the two stays. 3/16" wire stays and shrouds,
usually means 3/8" holes for rigging eye toggle pins. Jib blocks are normally hung off a curved
tang attached with a half dozen machine screws to the very top and front of the mast extrusion
immediately under the masthead fitting and over the opening of the mainsail sheave box.
Former owners may have contributed a variety of their own holes...
Ariel mastheads have more holes in them for nav lights, antenna, windexes, lightning rods, wires,
you name it.
The Pearson Ariel/Commander MANUAL would be good for you to Purchase.:D
