I was having trouble finding a commander sail plan. But my friend Tom Scott who is the most knowledgeable sailor I personally know came up with one for me. So if there are any of you other commander sailors that have a need for the sail plan here it is.

Just FYI, those images (and more) are in the manual. Worth your 42 bucks to invest in one! http://pearsonariel.org/document/orderman.htm

Kyle I don't know if you have pages that are differant from mine or not. The manual I have only has the sail plan for the ariel. It does show the other two smaller images but not the sail plan. The main reason I was looking for the Commander sail plan was so I could create a scale drawing of it and use it to draw on for the new sails I will be buying. I want to see where the sails should sheet to so I can set up my jib and genoa tracks correctly and I want to see it on the commander not the ariel.

The other thing that I have been unable to find is a full deck layout drawing for the commander like the manual shows for the Ariel. Only the partial one shown in my picture below. Does your manual have one of those? If so I would like a copy if you are willing to share.

HA! My apologies. I seem to have spent a good deal of energy researching this topic via this thread http://pearsonariel.org/discussion/showthread.php?t=1908&highlight=sail+plan and subsequently forgot about it completely!

No, the images aren't in the manual.
...

Say... care to share full pixel scans of your Commander images? And where did your friend find them?

I am always happy to share anything I can. Tere are two things I can offer you. First I opened the original images in paint and have started to edit it to create a full deck layout. If you want me to send you the file via e-mail I will be happy to do that but here is a picture of how far I have gotten on it.

The original images came from this website.
