They are pleasures to live on, are'nt they?. I'm being pulled back in that direction again. Nothing like life on the water. Sailing your home from one beautiful place to another.
    "Robin " is very pretty.

I was told Wayward Star , #91 was built in 1964l
If #88 WAS 1963, that makes me wonder if mne was built in '63 too?

    Anyway to know for sure.???

Hi Janice,........Wayward Star was most definatley built in 1963. #88 was laid up from the keel in November of 1962. I contacted Crowell who sent me a Fax or the order form for my boat . It was a boat show boat in Cleveland Feb 1963. #91 would have been concieved very soon after.

The title on #101 says it was built in 1963, also.

    I don't get it ? #88 was laid up in '62 but is a "63?

Anyone know its production years and how many were made?
Were any changes made during those years?

What month was on #101's title, if you don't mind my asking?

#45 is reputed to be Nov of 1962 , so they knocked out at least another 44 boats in the next month .

    Happy Memorial Day!

    Happy Memorial Day, everybody.

And wave those stars and stripes proudly from your stern...

(Should be a picture here but it usually takes me a try or two, so scroll down if you don't see it!)

    Pan-Pan, Pan-Pan, Pan-Pan...Hello All Stations

This is a rare photograph taken by one of the survivors of a raid by that bloodthirsty pirate "Commanderpete"

Commanderpete is known to menace the coastal waters of New York and its environs, generally targeting Hunter sailboats.

Once alongside, his signature cry is:

"Surrender! Hand over your women and your beer and you will not be harmed"

Mariners are advised to keep a sharp lookout and report any sightings to your local United States Coast Guard. OUT
