    HELLO!

    What's in a name? From the web:

    "The Praises of My Tongue
    Teyerihwahkwatha

    Ba o ni gon ra
    shon GWA WIS"

    no english translation
    (from a missionary's 1855 book of Christian hymns translated into Oneida)

    Ebb;

    Best translation we could find was Sea Raven, or Raven of the Sea.
    Her name comes from the original owner Bill Holm who also did the art on her stern. We are the 3rd owner, the second owner having purchased her so he could obtain the slip she was in in Edmonds.

    We did alot of searching on the web and Ken actually found the translation. I'm not sure exactly which indian language from the Northwest Indian tribes (most all in Canada) her name comes from. I'll have to ask him where he found the translation again.
