    Update on parts suppliers?

I am needing to replace forward porthole hardware and need new side window hardware, anybody have any information on where to get this. Rostain (sic) I read is no longer supplying this.

there is an earlier thread associated with hardware

a couple sources are available for the ports:

These guys got the original ROSTAND patterns for the portlight frames, small opening ports and a couple other pieces of the hardware:

one other source for the large portlights, Stem fitting or tiller head or rudder shoe is Bristol Bronze (I gave Roger the portlight patterns I made for A-231) (see http://www.pearsonariel.org/discussi...ead.php?t=1227 for details)

If you need tiller casting parts.. I recommend Bristol Bronze or Zeke at Ensign Spars (http://www.ensignspars.com/). They both have good copies of the original.

None of these options is cheap by any means but the parts are very well fabricated.

If you still have an existing frame (even a broken one), you may also want to talk to a local foundry about making a copy.

    good luck,
