Waiting in the doctor's office yesterday, I was flipping through Great Lakes Scuttlebutt magazine and saw an ad for Abordage custom yacht replicas (http://www.abordage.com/ ). Sent an inquiry and the response is below.

Thank you very much for your request to build a model of your boat.
Can I ask you where did you hear about Abordage?

Here is our quote to build a model of a Pearson Commander:

Half hull scale 1/20 makes a hull of 15" in length mounted on a wooden back board US$ 290
Half hull with deck details scale 1/20 US$ 590
Half model with mast and sails same scale mounted in a wooden frame with acrylic US$ 890
Complete ship model with mast fully customized US$ 1490

Our terms: 50% with the order 50% prior to shipping.
Delivery: 6 weeks for the half hull and up to 24 weeks for the complete ship model.

Here are the documents that we need to build the model:

1) Full set of drawings including deck layout, general profile and section drawings.( we already found them on internet)
2) 20 photos of your boat most of them taken on board and showing the deck details (winches, steering wheel, cockpit...2 of the transom)
3) The painting instructions using the ref from US Awlgrip Chart .

We will send you once the models is built photos for your approbation before shipping.
