Pearson Ariel #396 - Baltimore, Maryland $3500

I bought this bought in 2007 and had I not needed to relocate across the country for a new job, I would have gladly kept this boat and sailed for many more years on the Chesapeake.

Two Seas is a well kept 1965 Pearson Ariel sailboat with upgraded race-ready sailboat hardware. This boat has been actively maintained throughout its lifetime (only 3 owners) and raced for the last 20 years with the North Point Sailing Association. The suggested modifications to the strong back were completed by the previous owner. The hull is blister free with a new barrier coat and bottom paint applied Spring 2009. The 8 hp OMC outboard engine was fully rebuilt last spring. The sails inventory includes 1-Main, 1-150, 1-130, 1-110 and 1-Storm jib; head-sail winches are self-tailing. All the electronics are fully working and include a marine radio, knot meter, depth sounder, auto pilot, radio and CD player, and a dual battery system. It also has a working head, water tank, faucet and stove.

This boat is in the same yard I keep my Commander. Two Seas has beaten me many times with the previous owner at the helm. It truly is well-kept. The description missed the adjustable backstay visible in the cockpit shot. It's quite a boat.
