    fixed port replacement options

The four fixed ports for the main cabin are all cracked and need to be replaced. The frames however are still usable but corroded (sp) and impossible to remove short of drilling out the old fasteners and replacing glass and fasteners with new. Does this sound reasonable or are my years of self abusing home repairs taking me in the wrong direction?.
    Thanks for any reply

    Hi Whitt,
Port replacement is really a non-event, if one is patient.

If the frames are serviceable applying a little heat to free the caulk may help you remove them without breaking the frames.... good luck it's do-able.

Thanks for the advice. I was just up finishing some last minute detailing to get her ready for the re-launch and looked closely at the ports. They will be OK for a while. It is high time to get her wet and have some fun. I will post the pics I took today in the gallery ASAP
    Thanks again
