Inspired by commanderpete's lead (http://pearsonariel.org/discussion/s...ad.php?t=1550), i tracked down a similarly old Ad for the Ariel. From the margins, it's labeled as having been printed in "Yachting" May 1965
Anyone know what became of Ariel #14?

Given the other threads about the mystery "extra ballast" I was amused by the phrase, " ... a choice is inboard power or a ballast-compensated outboard well"
were there other documents related to factory installed ballast for the inboards? I didn't see it in one of the option lists from the period.
