Sirocco has a 165 jib on a Harken and I'd like to remove the sail and send it in for inspection and cleaning, etc.
Can anyone give me some instruction on getting this sail down and off of the furling. thanks. j

It is usually quite simple. Just release the shackle at the sails tack, drop the halyard for the jib and pull the sail down and out of the groove. When the head of the sail gets down far enough to reach you can release it from the swivel by opening another shackle. That's all there is to it.
