For you folks remodeling. This is a yahoo influenced site so it may try to defeat you. I came in thru the second one. Read the guestbook too. Interesting and gratifying.

All the best, the best of luck to Richard. (sad but hopeful face here)

    Grampian: 26' X 21'9" X 8'4" X 4'3"
Ballast and displacement about the same as the Ariel.

Darn thing looks like a guppy, but sails like a racing boat!

Same boat bested me in the Summer series last year..... lower PHRF, but really a fast hull. Amazing amount of room below too. Don't care to go forward underway though, no side decks to speak of. Kind of tough to see over/around that cabin top.

I spent a week on one, and while I liked the interior.... I know I will stick with my Ariel.

So far as I can tell you still can get into this site thru google. Type in 'grampian 26' - cached. I think it's been inactive for a couple of years.

I'm one of those who believes working and sailing on a boat will somehow save ourself from ourself. You know keep passion and hope and joy and sanity alive! Sure hope it works, sure hope it sails. Steady as she goes!
