    Go on a licenced passenger carrying boat and you better see the placard if it carries more than 6 passengers it must be inspected by the USCG .

    Exclamation thanks for the info

    Im sure they are on any type of hired vessel sail or motor,but my experience is limmited to privately owned boats. my ariel,my triton and my current islander 29 has no placard stating people or weight bearing capacity
