    376 Deck Projects

Seems like everyone likes to see projects on other boats. Maybe because its fun to think about the other guy toiling away in the blazing sun---- and you aren't!

Bill, got the rope clutches and organizers on as part of the "leading lines aft project". Thanks for your help providing location details.

The new traveler. Luigi at Garhauer sure makes a strong one at a great price.

New boards and re-chromed Southcoat winches mounted on the bronze winch stands from Defender. Thanks to "Triton" Tim for the info on these. I know, most of you would use the Southcoasts for ballast, but I can't part with them!

Was 96 or 97 today. My shoes are melting to the deck. Hope I can turn around to take another picture.

OK, I'm unstuck. The final shot before I head back home. Need to jump in a pool.

Wow! She looks great! The southcoast winches are a real nice touch. I'd say 376 has fallen into good hands, deserving of such a nice craft.
The crew at Garhauer sure does make fine hardware and they practically give it away. As a matter of fact, Kent, your post here just inspired me to order a couple more blocks today and I'll be sure to mention you so you can get your kick back
'Guess I better quit whining about 80-85 degrees here and git bizy.
Oh yeah-pictures are good-send lotsa pictures.

Maybe I need to ditch my day job and just play with boats. Mr. Mike Goodwin, the traveler is Garhaure M-T 1, and goes for $214.50 for track lengths up to 5 feet. Mine is 4 feet, which just fits with about an inch to spare. Most of the other traveler systems I looked at went for way more bucks, and didn't even include the track! They have pre-made track lengths of 4 and 5 feet and standard 1/4" by two inch spacing. But they'll do a custom job as well if you have different fasteners in mind or want to retain any hole spacing you already have. But it will take longer time to deliver (but no extra cost!). Link to Garhauer catalogue (hope it works).
