    Standing Rigging Dimensions, Details

I plan to replace my Commander's Jib Stay. The published dimension is 31' -5 3/4".

Is that dimension center to center of eyelet holes (so excluding the turnbuckle's variable length)?

Or, does the determination of eye-to-eye length need to subtract a mid-turnbuckle length for fabrication?

My plan is to order one to length, use the jib halyard for stability while hoisting a sailor to the top to replace the existing (fraying). Boat is in the water at a dock slip. All advice is welcome!

    Thanks, David

In the Owner's Manual, COMMANDER LIST OF EQUIPMENT, the jib stay dimension is 31' -5 3/4".

Does anyone know if this includes the turnbuckle length?

Alternatively, does anyone have a dimension for this from a stock Commander?

    Thanks, David
