    Commander 89

Iím the new owner of Commander 89, Bodacious Liberty.

Totally an impulse purchase. I like classic-looking daysailers and was looking at Ensigns, Electras, and Commanders.

The boat was in Marina del Rey and a friend and I sailed it up to Channel Islands Harbor last Sunday. Our marina has a pool. Thatíll keep the kids busy while Iím working on the boat!

I am amazed at the skill and craftsmanship Iíve seen as Iíve browsed the forum!

Iíll post some photos soon when I figure out how.

Any idea what the hooks on the bulkhead were for? I suspect they arenít original.

I was trying to get an idea of what was going on up the mast rigging-wise.

Good luck. Looks like you have lots of projects ahead. They will all be worth it. The Commander is a great boat.
