So as my first boat, she has been great and as a first boat to learn to sail on I do not think I could have made a better choice, but I have been racing her for 2 years now and that where my interest lay for the near future. As such, I am looking at more dedicated PHRF racers such as J-24's, Evelyn 25's, and a few others to get more competitive. So wavelength is for sale. Just search ariel 417 and you'll get a history on her for the last few years. She's in good shape, a little soft near the bow and could use paint. Those are the negatives, the positives are she is well equipped with nice crisp main, 2 good jibs, depth sounder, VHF, swim ladder, all lights work as they should, very clean wiring through out, nice stereo, Stack Pack, Sunbrella Jib Bag which makes dousing and protecting the sail easy.
