    Awards

    The Encinal Yacht Club again served as the site of the awards ceremony. The crew of Nemesis (skipper Jeff Sullivan and crew Connor Sullivan) accepted the awards for winning the 2017 Hoppe. First came the “keeper” trophy (a bottle of champaign), presented by Kent Smith, and then came the perpetual trophy, presented by Bill Phelon. By the way, NEMESIS has been on a seven year winning streak that began back in 2011!.
