Engine Hole Plug for Pearson Ariel (FS)
I sold a 1963 Pearson Ariel a while ago. I just ran across the plug for the outboard engine hole. Many people don't know it, but the Ariel was manufactured with a fiberglass plug that fits in the well where the outboard engine goes. I have the original one that went with the boat. Reply to this thread if you have an interest in it. The selling price is $100.

Bogle, Mike Goodwin who lives down the street from me said he will be making some plugs for Ariels and Commanders. I just sent off the check for the plug. A mold could be made from it.

Sounds good. I'm sure there are others interested. Keep us posted and thanks for letting me know the status.

it was rather awkward to use butt (no pun intended)
picture this....I did it when I had my ariel. Its the perfect place for a toilet seat....complete with lid ,seat and all...plus when the boat sits down on a wave....well,........ya dont even have to flush."form follows function"ya see on a small boat such as these ya jusgotta make the best use of all available space.
