Mike, in case there's a lurker on the list like I was, maybe you should post a nice shot of her and perhaps some of the work you've done? Be careful though - Pete may place a bid...

    Tempting!

Boy, I sure am tempted, Mike. I just spent more than that (insurance money, though) to replace the electronics on my boat after a small lightning strike. There's a lot to be said for simplicity.

    Al,
Can you start a thread and show us what you're doing to protect your new toys now?

I am interested in more information about your Ariel. I raced Ensigns for years but now I am interested in the Ariel or similar boat. Can you post pictures? I would need a trailer. What is the sail inventory in terms of age and type?

Here is a link to some shots of #45,

I have no trailer , but several members have had them built. I believe if you check the forum there are plenty posts.

I have 3 sails , main , jib and genoa . Soiled , stained but usable and at least 10 years old . Not going to win any races against good sailors . The main is a Hood sail.

Boat is being sold as is , where is .
Bottom is foul I'm sure as the boat has not been used more than 6 hours in the last 2 years . Bottom was painted with Micron .
