2017 hoppe regatta coming saturday june 10, 2017

JUNE 10, 2017, is the date when the Hoppe Memorial Regatta for Ariel and Commander skippers will take place on San Francisco Bay. This annual race is always filled with fun, excitement and suspense for the competitors. -- Did you pick the preferred direction around Angel Island? Where did that "wind hole" come from? (Last year, the racing fleet fell into one and did not finish.) Don't see anyone else, so am I leading or way behind? Current? What current?

And remember, there's the lavish "awards gathering" following the race at a Local Yacht Club where you can share Stories & Excuses, Good food and Comradery.
