Hey Frank, I really like those ComPac Sun Cats. Nice looking boats! It seems like they put a lot of thought into making them single-hander friendly too.
Now that you're pulling your northern fleet, I suppose it's time to head south and do some work on your "real" boat and post lots and lots of pics, hmmm? :D
Yep !! I plan on leaving to go to #50 Nov. 18th. I will put the new dodger on,finish up minor plumbing and a bit of wiring and put the new chain plates on(ext. mount) and get to put the cushions in.I'm kinda excited like a lil guy before Xmas!!
Nice pic, Frank! Those are neat little boats.
Question: Do you know about/have you joined the Com-Pac Owners website? (I am the admin there, for a bit yet, at least.) This is the link - CPYOA - and the owners Forum is at CPYOA Forum.
Also, check this out, I just started it today for those fella's - an interactive map thingy from Google that should also serve as an Owners Registry. Put yourself in there. :) CPYOA Frappr! site
Hey, that "Frappr" thingy is cool, "E"!
I made one for A/C's - here:
http://www.frappr.com/pearsonarielcommanderowners
Note: Once you put info in, it stays there - there is no edit function, except getting deleted, and re-entering info. Other than that, it's really neat. :)
Edit: it seems that you *can* change your info (I didn't try changing the name, just the comment I wrote in), click on the Add Yourself button.
Just a WA guess, but I see Pete's been a mapper on the "frappr"...
I get blamed for everything :( :( :(
Better off with a salty sailing lass, with some meat on her bones
Pete Looks to me like a savvy racer simply trying to increase the waterline length !! Every lil bit (or BIG) counts !!
He's practicing the "speed tack": to reverse directions, bury the bow and let the stern swing around 180 degrees...
could be a VERY dangerous manouver....'pitch pole' looks immenent !!
If you go back to my 1st pic at the beginning....the view off my back veranda has sure changed !! This is the dock base now (water is up a lot too) Kinda get a chill just looking out there.Amazing how things change in 4-5 wks this time of year
fall again
