    Hi Mike,

I read with interest your postings about powering your Ariel with a diesel. I have a South Cost 23, the Alberg designed little sister of the Ariel, and have a few questions about your process if you don't mind. I'm about to undertake this same install activity in mine, and they were never offered with an inboard, so breaking new ground here.

Main question is how you drilled your shaft hole and were able hit the aperture/keel profile so accurately in the middle. Or, is it that when you cut your prop aperture in the rear of the keel, were you left with a hole through to the bilge area that you then just had to glass around? I've been looking closely at the pictures and descriptions and cannot tell which was the case.

If you want to email me directly, that would be great. My email is joey.stubbs@earthlink.net.

Thanks for your time. Your posts are a tremendous resource.
