So as my first boat, she has been great and as a first boat to learn to sail on I do not think I could have made a better choice, but I have been racing her for 2 years now and that where my interest lay for the near future. As such, I am looking at more dedicated PHRF racers such as J-24's, Evelyn 25's, and a few others to get more competitive. So wavelength is for sale. Just search ariel 417 and you'll get a history on her for the last few years. She's in good shape, a little soft near the bow and could use paint. Those are the negatives, the positives are she is well equipped with nice crisp main, 2 good jibs, depth sounder, VHF, swim ladder, all lights work as they should, very clean wiring through out, nice stereo, Stack Pack, Sunbrella Jib Bag which makes dousing and protecting the sail easy. Danforth, with rode and chain, interior cushions and a well maintained tohatsu 6 sail pro. 4300 u.s.

Ariel 417 has been sold and is now down in TN. Thanks for all of your help over the past 4 years with this boat. This is the boat that I learned to sail on and it was the perfect choice. The boat will be missed. caferacer - Baltimore MD.

I may be selling my Commander this spring. I'm across the Patapsco on Jones Creek. Where did you advertise besides here? I'm headed the same way you are. I want to do more longer races on weekends and looking for a faster boat that can find a class where I can be competitive.
Thanks,

How did they get it there?
Did they borrow a trailer?

The buyer sent up an 18 wheeler, I wasn't there when it go picked up. But the guy was very organized and got the boat within a week of the sale as I recall. Here are a couple of pics sent to me
