Plans change. I can sell the vessel if you're interested; but I am going to be restoring it in my retirement. That means it will be in better condition as time goes on, and the price will have to allow for that. Restoration starts June of this year.

FOR SALE: Pearson Commander Hull #112
I'm a lifetime sailor; first on the Chesapeake- out of Annapolis- then inland in the Midwest. I was on the Mackinac in 1978. Subsequently operrated a yard in Chalmette, Louisiana, and was Senior Sailing Instructor for the Annapolis Sailing School on Galveston Bay. (I have sailed on SF Bay) For 15 years, I had a 100-ton Deck Officer's License.
I know what an Alberg design and this quality of construction is about.
I rescued this vessel about 20 years ago, in North Texas. It is very solid and fairly complete. It was in the slip, and sound when I had it hauled. The owner had stopped paying rent.
This example has a lot of period (original) hardware, and is unusually rigged. It's still in very sound condition. Mostly needs interior restoration, and refinish. It goes with a custom iron cradle that can easily load onto a flatbed. It is currently in dry storage, near DFW Airport.
I have clear registration/title which makes a big difference.
I would like to get $2,500 for the vessel. (The iron cradle is worth $500 alone.)
