Both of these sails are still available. I also have a storm trisail, 120% genoa and 150% genoa, all were from my Pearson Ariel. The asymmetric spinnaker and trisail are in excellent condition. I will offer a significant discount for a package deal. We're getting ready to move so the sails have to go, thanks.

Hi ,

I would be interested in the spinnaker, how did you set this one on your Ariel?

Thanks,

The cruising spinnaker has 4 lines attached to it: 1)the halyard, 2) a tack control line which allows the foot of the spinnaker slide up or down the forestay to control shape, and 3) & 4) a port and starboard control sheet attached to the clew. On my Ariel, I ran the headsail halyard back to a winch on the cabin top so I could raise and lower the spinnaker single-handed. I ran the control sheets through a turning block on a track aft of the primary winch. No poles.

Thanks for your quick response,

I think I might run into a problem with this setup since I have a roller furling Jib maybe the Drifter route is a better solution for me. I'll do some more research.

Check out this link. It shows how to rig a cruising spinnaker if you have rolling furling.

Sorry for the late response
Thanks for the setup sample, I am just afraid of to much chafing this way.
I am going to try the drifter route at this point.

Good luck in selling the Spinnaker

Thanks. I have 3-4 people interested in the spinnaker so I think it will sell. FYI, I also have the mainsail, storm jib, storm trisail, 120% genoa and 150% genoa all off my Pearson Ariel in case you are interested.
