Minimalist stuff.
Diehard kero stove buffs will be interested in the Fuel Faucet - a bottle with an angled tube and vent hole finger control for transfer of fuel like alcohol into the preburner wick.
Candlelier. A 3 candle lantern. Might make enough heat to take the chill off for Kurt. Heat water too. Also makes light.
Single Candle Lantern (the one you see these days you take hiking). They make a brass one, but I believe all the rest are made from aluminum. Optional lampshades and parabolic reflectors. Have to invent a gimbal holder for the boat, of course they do hang from a handle.
The argument for candles: no batteries, a nice romantic light, modern candles burn clean for 9 hours. But they melt, so storage in hot climes could be a problem. Pretty small carbon footprint. Regular, bee$wax, citronella.
Candles cost about $1.50 ea, but they smell alot better than any other fuel you have onboard.
Wind, water, storm proof matches.
Fire Steel with s.s striker
Titanium sporks (froons).
They also have one pint icecream making balls ('Play and Freeze' - funky videos on youTube) - using rock salt and ice - 1/2n1/2, jam and/or chips - that would be a gas for anybody camping out without a freezer on the water with the kids.
Not advocating any of these products.
