My name is Paul and I live in Oxnard, Southern California. I have just taken over the care of #400. She has no name as yet. I was looking for a 24 - 27 ft older boat to return to sailing after many years of power. I looked at Catalinas, Columbias a Lancer and even a Schock Santana. Then I saw #400 tied up at a local boat yard, looking for a new home and that was that! So far I am still taking inventory of the projects but here she is at the survey.

Welcome aboard Paul!

THat is a fine ship you have there. I think you will be very happy with her once you get her 'wet'.

Thanks for the post, and the pictures. Congratulations!:D

they really can make you sit up and take notice when you see one. The same thing happen to me when I first saw one I knew I would own one soon.

I hope you have a great time with her.

Ariel #400 (still no name) will be launched tomorrow (February 1). The rudder has been rebuilt and the bottom painted. I have also reconditioned the Tohatsu 5 hp 2 stroke O/B. The hull needs repainting but I want to get sailing!
