In the recent newsletter, they talked about putting on a PDF.

I've found that the Mustang jacket / PDF (it has rigid foam panels inside the jacket) is fantastic! When the weather gets bad, you put on a jacket, and you also automatically put on a PDF.

I considered a harness & the inflatable PDF, but after using this for a season, I think it is the best combination. Unless if you are always dealing with 90 degree days. You won't want this jacket on if the weather is over 65 degrees.

Where I sail, a PDF is of limited use however. If you are singlehanded, then you will die of cold before someone will find you. The harness is a necessary evil - even with the PDF.

Just got me a Mustang Bomber Floatation Jacket. I found it on sale. Not really bulky at all. Hopefully, I'll use it when it gets colder.

I was going to get one for my lady friend here, but she seems pretty bouyant.

Just so our female members don't feel slighted, here is a picture of some buff, hardbodied sailors.

So you take all those old Adobe PDF 's and stuff them in a jacket and they keep you afloat ?
I'll stick with PFD's , but Commander Pete may be on to something , if his wife don't catch him !

Nah, not married yet. Part of the problem is that I like to hum that old song "Brandy." You know the one, "Brandy, you're a fine girl..." Seems to scare them off.

Those guys in the picture above may not have 6-pack abs, but they got 12-pack bellies.

Ahoy Commanderpete,

Here is someone that would like to crew on your boat. Maybe fill in when the other crew is unavailable? :D

Commanderpete - "Nobody is just 'naturally' skinny." Charles Atlas highly recommends the 12-pack diet if you want to put some weight on.

That photo SailorLiz posted gave me a terrible nightmare last night.

The guy was wearing a leapord-skin Speedo and commenting on my physique in a locker room.

(shiver)

I've got to lay off that spicey food.

WOW! That is a scarey nightmare! I hope you have nicer dreams tonight. Maybe you should go for a swim and try to relax. ;)

Hot Damn!

That pool would go real good with my summer house. It has a great view.

Your summer house is a nice one. It qualifies for a real nice deer blind here in MI.

We have gotten way off topic on this thread, but it has been fun.:D

While I was out sailing this weekend by the Mackinac Bridge I snapped this picture. I never realized how big the fish can get in the Great Lakes.

I had heard that was an UPer swimming pool. Didn't I see a panel on that truck that was colored bondo?
