26' Pearson Commander Easy to Sail Sleeps 4 in New Bedford, MA

Hi, I am selling another boat for a friend. This is a 1966 Pearson Commander 26.5 feet draws 3.5 feet. She sleeps four and has a large cockpit for six people. The hull is thick fiberglass and they certainly don't build them like this any more. There is a full keel. The bottom needs power-washing and paint. The woodwork needs teak oil as shown in the photos. All sails are there, there are 2 hank-on jibs and 1 roller furling jib and 1 main with 2 reefing points all in good condition. Bunk cushions are new with closed cell foam so they won't mold. Outside there is a set of Sunbrella cushions for one side while sailing. There is a sink down below. There is a compass and electronics included are ICOMM VHF radio, depthsounder, knotmeter, and a Raytheon auto tiller system. There is a new offshore type of toilet with new teflon seacocks never hooked up and no holding tank notice the wooden cover on the right of photo. There is a self-bailing cockpit and custom teak floor grate. It does not take on water. She comes with a dinghy and the boat stands too! There is a stainless steel outboard bracket for your outboard motor with a rating up to 12 horsepower. There is no reserve and the starting price is low but she has to go.
