Bill Alberts is great.
The article is about people with Kestrel as a backdrop.

So, it's a fine read -
but there isn't a single detail shot or picture of her emancipated interior.

Strange.
Jag forstar inte!

Bill Alberts reported on this Board that Kestrel was sold.
Wonder if the new owner has joined the Association....?

called "Good Old Boat" spent as much time talking about the owners as they did and as little talking about the boat as they did.

It was nice to see an Ariel show up in the magazine though. :)

I believe that a complete Ariel restoration was in one of the earliest editions of Good Old Boat. They may have not wanted to repeat. I noted that despite that there was a lot of space devoted to technical issues this month. I've been feeling too much space had been devoted lately to boat reviews (of boats I can't buy right now) and human interest stories and not so much on pure technical/rehab/refit topics. This month's articles on iron keel refurbishment, sanding tools and techniques, and Atomic 4's among others were a welcome change.

Hi !

My wife, Beatrix, and I are Kestrel's new owners. She is at the Carriage House Marina in Sea Bright, New Jersey. We can't wait until next season so that we can begin sailing her.

I'm glad you contacted and joined the association. I also would like to hear about Kestrel's continuing adventures. Good luck with her.

Do post pictures whenever you can.

All the best,

Bill
