There is a very nice sailboat trailer on Ebay, very well made and strong enough for the roads in Yankeeland. I believe it's in CT. ( Northhaven). Item # 130272872912. Bill 231 This would be the way to go, versus building.

hmmm... i'll take a look, the frame looks on the light side compared to the triad trailers for the CD25D. it was built for an Evelyn 26 (4200#). thanks, bill@ariel231

Bill231, I have no interest in this trailer , so my comments are unbiased. However you may want to note this trailer is double frameed, so to speak. It also appears to be constructed of tubing and not Angle iron or channel iron which is more desireable to me and definetely stronger with less weight. Also 7000 lb axles times two , that's strong!!
My trailer is made of 5" channel with a tubing tongue. For some reason I can't fathom I can't load pics on this site, if you would like pics and actual specs, shoot me a PM where I can get back to you and I'll send pics and measurements.
