It is time we put Ariel #90 "Whisper" on the block. We purchased an Alberg 30 two years ago. and Whisper has been on the hard since. She is located at Torresen Marine, Muskegon Michigan. More details available at request.

What a great photo!
I'm curious what production year # 90 is. I have #91 and don't have original documentation but it is registered as a 1964. Other Ariel hull numbers and corresponding years lead me to believe she is even older.

#90 is registered as a 1967, but after reading some of the history on this site and others, I don't believe it. There was a thread about vintage i remember reading, that would have put her about late '62 to early '63.

#45 is spose to be Nov. of '62 ( according to her Doc. ) , that would be a lot of boats to crank out in 2 months . 1963 is very possible I would think .

The PO of #66 indicated that she was built in 1962. Laid up in December perhaps? Maybe she was early 1963?

I have had some resposnses for my adds for Ariel 101, but she needs some work. If I have any more and they are looking for something ready to go, I can pass your info on. How much are you asking, where is she, etc.

The boat yard has put Whisper at $7500, and we should be asking the same. Not much action yet, so I would be interested in hearing something. Whisper is at Torresen Marine in Muskegon, Michigan. That is on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. Whisper has an Atomic 4 inboard in good condition.

Came across some old documentation while cleaning out #66 today. It indicated that she was built in 1963, not 1962 as we had originally been told.

Need to close the circle on this thread.

A-90's new owner is Mike Barr of Park Forest, IL Not sure, but I have to assume the boat has moved from Maryland to the Great Lakes.
