I havent been here in about a hundred years, but aren't the life lines a bit to tall for the boat?

Have you cut the jib to deal with this issue?

(I miss my Commander Hull #264)

Do you have a trailer for this Boat?

no trailer, and The life lines came with the boat , I had a new jib made high cut similar to the ratsey one that came with the boat. after sailing with the current life lines I rather like them.

I'm thinking I like those lifelines, pushpit and pulpit mui! Would you happen to have the height measurement in your head? 26"? 30"? Each time I go back and look they grow on me more and more.

I used to really want something that was 'to scale' visually, but, a knee high trip wire would spell disaster for me.

...wanna sell em?....

No worries
If I buy the boat Ill probably keep the bow pulpit and stern pushpit and aleviate the life lines all together,
I used to race Blue Penguin Hull 264 and a J 22 they are kinda a nuisance on a boat this size. Besides I had a 150% DECKSWEEPER at the time

I am so glad summer is here in the North

The Life lines are fine they are a help when things Pipe up, and get a bit hectic, your already ripping them off the boat and you haven't even made a offer Geez!:)

Iceman, how is your Voyager 26? Do you still own it?

Thanks for asking
I sold it to a new owner/home.
Made me an offer I could not refuse

I am boatless at this moment. Its good and bad at the same time.

My simple life got complicated this spring.

I should write a book.

I called on this one a week or two ago and was told someone that owned it 20 years ago bought it.
