Ladies and Gentlemen,

In the sprit of a previous thread concerning handy tools to have, I propose creating a thread of handy links to have.

Let there be no debate, this site is a fount of knowledge unparalleled on the web, but I have noticed from time to time people making mention of other sites that they found useful. I just thought that having a consolidated list of such sites would prove useful.

To start the ball rolling here is my contribution:

I know that feeling. For years I used to carefully coil my anchor line so that it would deploy freely the next time. Used to end up with some horrible birds nests.

Then I learned to just feed it into a bag. No more problems.

My brain only has room to remember a few sailing and fishing knots. If I learned a new one I would forget an old one.

Let's see what other links I have

Here is a very handy link to a Pdf. file that shows many mainsail logos for different manufacturers. Print it out and keep a copy onboard. Unfotunately the Ariel and Commmander were not listed, but the Triton and Ensign were as well as the basic Pearson logo. I find it hard to believe that a historically significant boat with 400+ hulls produced doesn't make the list.

I ran across this page while looking for ladders.

Info page on projects and other stuff:
Bosun Supplies Knowledge Page (http://bosunsupplies.com/knowledge.cfm)

I've never used them, but it seems like a decent outfit.
