Any of you esteemed Carl Alberg scholars have any 411 on the Southcoast boats? There's a Southcoast 21 on eBay right now that is a nice looking boat.

Yes, a handsome boat

Fun bit of history about old Carl

Thanks

Who could identify that South Coast as an Alberg?
C'pete's pic must be a later model because it looks like a swept-back rudder on it. Which looks a lot more spiffy than that straight down dinghy rudder on the one for sale.

I don't know about you daysailer people, I think that particular 21 would look a little more comfy with a larger cabin!

The rudder was changed early in the production run because the original design did not provide enough control of the boat.
