I'm anchored out in 'Manitee Pocket' near St Lucie inlet @ Stuart Florida learning to become a diesel mechanic (guess diesels don't like salt water--go figure). There is a prestine Commander tied up at a little marina close by...REAL NICE boat...light blue hull, shiny and great brightwork. Is it a member??? Darn camera is on the fritz or I'd post a pic....guess they don't like salt water either.;)
Get us a hull number . . .

My cameras LOVE salt water, a couple of them have loved it so much that they never came back:o

Bill..its #272...I'll try to get a photo.The boat is 'much loved' !!
The registry shows that to be EBB TIDE, owner is Ed Hudson of Pace FL. We could use the state registration number, if you have a chance.

If so...it is sold...and to a loving owner. Looks like recent paint both hull and deck with all brightwork GLEAMING. I'll try a pic. Hull # is accurate....I dingied over and looked....the plate was also 'polished' !!

Actually...I had time as saturday is turning out to 'perfect' wind/seas for a crossing.Great day to just 'put around' in the dingy. This IS a fine Commander. My pleasure.
All right, this is killing me. Somewhere on this forum are pictures of a Commander (I think) with freshly painted topsides very similar to this one. Sorry, I can't remember whose boat and my searches have turned up nothing. Anyone else remember?
Here it is! C#272 pictures (http://www.pearsonariel.org/discussion/showthread.php?t=1418)...
And if you look in "cbs" profile:
Boat:
Madras # 272 commander
Location:
stuart fl.
