The Ariel - Commander Yacht Association's discussion board registration policy is as follows:

All registrations must be “activated” by the moderator. That means that the moderator reviews each registration and makes a decision to accept or reject. The decision is based on:

1- A legitimate E-mail address.

2- A clear user name. Names in code or some weird amalgamation of letters are very hard to distinguish from fake registrations and will be rejected.

3- An entry in both the “boat” and “location” fields of the User Profile Fields. (At a minimum. yacht type and hull number; city and state. Information in the other fields would be nice to have.) Non boat owners will need to indicate in the "boat" field why they are interested in our Web page.
