View Full Version : Reward For...
The first person who can get a legible copy of plans and any associated instruction for an Ariel cradle into my hands by either scanning and emailing as a PDF or sending FedEx or UPS. If shipped FedEx or UPS, I will reimburse cost of shipping also. I need these ASAP!!!!
my email is tm1ss@cox.net
Additionally, I still would like to find a ready made cradle or a trailer
www.toolworks.com/cdsoa/cdsoalook-groupsNpubs.html
may get you into a Cape Dory site where....
google:
CDSOA, Inc - Groups & Publications
....you can find a steel and a wood cradle "plan" and photos for an Alberg Typoon and CD 25. Some helpful ideas??? :)

Remember PROVO bikes? Nothing to do with Utah. They were free to use bikes in many cities in the '70s that you just used when you found them and left when you were finished for somebody else to ride.
One good metal travel trailer, designed specifically for A/Cs, that would be available for members, new members especially, for them to haul their boat anywhere in the country, would be very nice thing. Tho maintenance and lights and license would be a problem, something like this could work with an honor system. It could be designed so that with care you could jackstand the boat and with a little stop and go drive the trailer out from underneath.
Thanks for the link. Commanderpete had already shipped the plans when I got your post. Perhaps I can combine the two. For now, I have chatted with Jerri Hudson about hauling my new to me. He was recommended by Marvin at American Boat Transfer. He seems pretty sharp, and considering the price of fuel, I guess it's actually a pretty good deal and he actually answers his phone and taked time to listen.

If it is the same Jerry hudson, I have hepled him load a boat here in HdG, Md hell of a nice guy, he's recomended by any one I ask. He has been doing it for a long time too, started selling boats in the 60's, i belive, during the gas shortage of the 70's he droped the sales and kept up the transport.
Yeah, we talked on the phone for awhile the guy really seems to know his
stuff, sounds like the same guy.
