Having just bought Dan Maliszewski's Ariel, I need to sell my Commander. (Dan recommended that I join the association so I'm in the process of doing that.)

The Commander is structurally sound, has good sails and a marine toilet with holding tank to make it legal. It needs some cosmetics and has no motor, but I know of a good one that's available.

For photos and more information check my listing at: http://www.sailboatlistings.com/view/3938

The boat is on a trailer in my backyard. Asking $3,800 for her. If you'd like the trailer too, add $1,000. (Trailer has dual axles and is just two years old.)

Give me a call or shoot me an email.

Guy, welcome! This is a great association and you obviously have good taste in your boats. As the winter drags on and my fix-it list grows, I've come to think of it as my "support group".

I'm looking forward to the comradarie (virtual and otherwise) of other Ariel and Commander owners. I'm sure it will add to the enjoyment in many ways.

Capt,

Though I'm sans Ariel, I reckon I'm still a member, and so a thousand greeting to ye, Captain Guy, and if I do say so meself, a mighty fine vessel ye be connin' these days. Furthermore, the price is right for your Commander, and a plague on those who pass her up, for a better deal cannot be had over the entire east coast.

Your obedient servant,
Capt. Dan

Thanks Dan,

I'm very much looking forward to sailing this summer. I have the champagne ready, but I'm still trying to find the right new name for her.

Meanwhile, my Commander's still available. I've had inquiries, but mostly from out of state so far.

Cheers,

Guy
