Say Bill and Bill II,

Wouldn't it be grand to have a PORTRAIT GALLERY of all the boats that have graced this site over the last four or five years?

A page or two for each one?
Befor and afters?

The front page out there has been dead as a doornail for all this time too.
There ain't one decent romantic sunset (or sunrise) photo of an Ariel or a Commander out there where there should be. Something. Hell, the whole world is looking in. Have a "Boats For Sale" plank out there on the front page, with suitable liability disclaimers.

And we want our class of MORCs to be desired by potential owners!
{Now THAT'S a pretty boat - want one of them! Any available? How much?}
The class is healthy if they see (if WE see) beautiful boats and WANT THEM. Our responsibility!

The inside Gallery portraits could be just a slide show identifying each boat by name and present owner or former owner (if that's ok) and date of photo. Historical shots too! Maybe it could be indexed or alphabatized. I personally would see this as a resource. And the identified owners would be proud of their plastic classics in the world wide fleet.

There is so much stuff on these board now that it has become really hard to navigate internally. Even older threads in the forums are no longer available or accessable!
Hope you can be convinced that something spiffy should be done to

PRESENT COMMANDERS AND THE ARIELS EACH IN THEIR GLORY

A page showing these beauties sailing and at anchor to admire...a page of interiors and improvements for inspiration. A page of repair shots for a helping hand...I love it !! Kinda a 'quick view' of the things ya want to see. One problem...who's going to sort through all this...assemble it right and get it onto the pages...BIG task !! Maybe we start a collection ($$) for a computer savvy person...if we all pitched in a 'bit' it would add up to 'enough' to make it worth someones while. GREAT idea...I'm in
