I just got my july/august 'good old boat' magazine in the mail.It has 2 good articles from a couple of the best small boat adventurers around...one by Dave and Jaja Martin and the other by Lynn and Larry Pardey. Both have sailed around the world on boats of our size and reading their submissions just kinda makes ya want to 'get out there' and do it...even if the adventures are on a smaller scale. One of the better magazines.I guess we all fit into the 'good old boat' catagory if the newest among us is pushing 40 !!

AMEN, FRANK!!!! It's all about SAILING.

P.S. I'm 25, but I don't think I'm the new kid anymore. :)

( my other ole gal ain't too hard too look at either...like a fine wine..some things get better with age) AMEN to that too!!

I (http://www.boatus.com/goodoldboat/PearsonHistory.htm) subscribe to 'Good old Boat' (http://www.goodoldboat.com/) also. Good magazine. Much better then the attempt that another 'sail'ing rag came up with once they realized they had left out 'the rest of us'.

Anyway, here is a link to an Artilce on the history of Pearson Yachts (http://www.boatus.com/goodoldboat/PearsonHistory.htm) from 'Good old Boat' online.

I find 'small craft advisor' a good read also...it caters to 'real' average boaters with smaller boats.Lots of good stuff .
